The Hospital is seeking a full-time Clinical Pharmacist to join our pharmacy Team! The Pharmacist performs clinical and distributive tasks necessary to ensure that the patient’s medication therapy is safe, effective, timely, and efficient. The Pharmacist works closely and collaboratively with medical and nursing staff, patients, and all health system personnel.
Things you can look forward to in this role include:
- Daily rounding with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care
- Providing patient care in a rural practice setting to a diverse population including medical, surgical, and ambulatory patients.
- Practicing through delegation protocols which include but are not limited to: anticoagulation management, pharmacokinetic monitoring, renal dosing, electrolyte management, and antimicrobial stewardship
- Performing verification of chemotherapy orders and supporting our outpatient oncology/infusion center
- Providing clinical, analytical, and technical expertise to aid in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of pharmacy systems and the electronic medical record
- Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and participation in committees and task forces
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Education Required:
- Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy
Credential/Licensure Required:
- Valid, unrestricted Wisconsin pharmacist license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire

- Ability to use and assist in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of all pharmacy systems, including but not limited to the Electronic Health Record, IV Pumps, Automated Dispensing Cabinets, IV Workflow Management System, and Drug ordering/returns
