Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for guests. Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly welcome
- Manage and maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized
- Check guests in and out, providing accurate information on room amenities and hotel services
- Respond to guest inquiries and address any issues or concerns promptly and efficiently
- Utilize hotel management systems to perform tasks such as check-in and check-out
- Handle phone calls and messages, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Coordinate with hotel staff, including housekeeping, maintenance, and security, to ensure guest needs are met
- Provide guests with information on local attractions, events, and services
- Maintain knowledge of hotel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance
- Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
- Experience working in a resort or hotel environment
- Proficiency in hotel management systems, including front desk and phone systems
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Fluency in a second language (bilingual) is an asset
- Knowledge of guest services and hotel operations
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to maintain a professional and organized work environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
