The Associate Director of Food & Beverage assists in coordinating, supervising, and directing all property food and beverage operations. This role ensures the department's profitability and upholds high standards of product and service quality. The Associate Director is responsible for developing marketing ideas to promote business, reducing employee turnover, managing revenue and payroll budgets, and achieving budgeted productivity while consistently maintaining high quality.
Education & Experience:
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, or a 4-year college degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or a 2-year college degree with 3 or more years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Windows, Profit Sword, and company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, and liquor laws and regulations is required.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must speak Spanish
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work long hours, with a focus on evening shifts.
- Medium physical work: must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
