Job Description:
The Centralized Estimating/Review Manager will work to develop a team and work process to prepare virtual estimates for:
Assist with Repair Center estimating as needed
Customer request for estimates from photos submitted
Others as needed
Audit estimates based on client or operational asks to ensure compliance with programs.
Key Job Responsibilities
Oversee a team of Estimators preparing virtual estimates for Repair Center and customers seeking estimates via photos submitted.
Monitor team member performance to ensure quality of estimates prepared and volume of estimates completed
Oversee review/audit of estimates prepared by repair centers.
Coach and train team members as needed
Work with internal partners to confirm guidelines.
Validate workday training, ensure support of carrier guidelines.
Maintain team reporting
Handle escalations from internal/external partners
Provide high level of service to all external and internal customers
Develop and oversee a virtual estimating workflow
Work with internal teams and external vendors to identify and develop process/workflow
Introduce workflow to Gerber teams
Education and/or Experience Required
High School diploma/GED
Minimum of five years of related work experience
I-CAR training is preferred
Knowledge of automobile parts, repairs and damage vehicle damage appraisals
Prior management experience preferred
Required Skills/Abilities
Thorough understanding of leadership and how to maximize team performance.
Thorough understanding of collision damage estimating
Good decision making ability, sound judgment
Understanding of basic insurance principles and guidelines, and how they apply to estimating decisions
Written/Oral communication that supports team efforts and outcomes.
History of meeting timelines and outcomes as assigned.
Other Requirements
Ability to travel as needed to attend meetings, team member recruitment and coaching, etc
Advanced knowledge of CCCOne
Understanding of ARMS system
Knowledge of CCC Advisor product
