Job Summary: The Sewer Install Field Manager oversees the daily operations of sewer installation projects. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Field Manager will lead a team of skilled technicians, coordinate with subcontractors, and maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
Compensation includes salary and monthly bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Oversee all phases of sewer installation projects.
- Ensure projects are completed according to specifications, codes, and safety standards.
- Support install coordinator with project budgets and tracking of expenses to maintain profitability.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones are met.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and provide direction to a team of field technicians and laborers.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project goals and updates.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional development.
- Perform performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Implement quality control procedures, post s and monitor compliance.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution.
- Provide regular updates and progress reports to customers and stakeholders.
- Address customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Safety Management:
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures on all job sites.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
- Investigate and report any accidents or safety incidents.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and daily logs.
- Prepare and submit project reports to senior management.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sewer installation or a related field.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations related to sewer systems
- Skills:
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using project management software and other relevant tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Certifications:
- OSHA certification or other relevant safety training preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, and navigate job sites for extended periods.
