Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Camp Manager to oversee the daily operations of our resort. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties:
The Camp Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the camp run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional guest services, addressing any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Managing the front desk, handling guest check-ins and check-outs, and responding to inquiries.
- Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the resort's facilities, grounds, and equipment.
- Developing and implementing effective policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of our guests.
- Supervising and training resort staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Managing the camp's budget and finances, ensuring that expenses are in line with budgetary constraints.
- Collaborating with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and recreation, to ensure seamless operations.
- Providing recommendations for resort improvements and renovations to enhance the overall guest experience.
Experience:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospitality or resort management capacity, preferably in a guest-facing role. The ideal candidate will also have experience in guest services, front desk operations, or a similar role.
Skills:
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are an asset.
- Strong customer service and guest relations skills.
- Experience working in a resort or hotel environment.
- Proficiency in front desk operations and guest services.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management.
