**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk/ Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices and record-keeping, assisting the Executive Director with answering phones and minimal Human Resource responsibilities.
**Duties:**
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely
- Verify discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly statements
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors as needed
**Skills:**
- Proficient in computerized accounting systems
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in a business office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with phone systems and QuickBooks software
- Knowledge of order entry processes
