Job Title: Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager
Reports To: Director of Human Resources (Dotted line to Executive Leadership Team)

Norman S. Wright Climatec Mechanical Equipment, a leading HVAC Manufacturing Representative company based in Southern California, has a rich history spanning several decades. We specialize in innovative and energy-efficient HVAC solutions for commercial, industrial, and highly recognized clients, earning a reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.
We are seeking a Content and Social Media Manager to join our team. This is a position of growth for the organization and a role that is crucial in shaping our digital presence and brand identity. The successful candidate will manage and create compelling content across all social media platforms, including LinkedIn, support the HR Newsletter, contribute to event planning, and gather content from current and upcoming events to ensure engaging and consistent communications aligned with our brand values and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Management:
- Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Glassdoor, Google and Instagram.
- Analyzing the campaign performance by tracking metrics like engagement rates, reach, and conversion rates.
- Community management and continuing to build relationships with followers and subscribers
- Keeping an eye on social media trends and best practices that can be incorporated.
- Maintain a content calendar to ensure regular and timely content publication.
- Implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, fostering community engagement.
HR Newsletter & Event Support:
- Support the creation and distribution of the HR Newsletter by working with new hires and existing staff to gather content such as headshots and employee biography.
- Gather and compile content from various departments and events.
- Assist in planning and promoting company events, ensuring effective internal and external communication.
People Management & Culture:
- Design, develop, and deploy effective and relevant people plans and processes, including but not limited to talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and employee development.
- Create successful employee engagement programs that create transparency of projects that can be visually shared with staff in a creative way, which may include YouTube video content creation.
- Email campaigns for warehouse sales, parts sales, product marketing, new product launches, etc.
- Project profiles & case studies. Includes poster creation for office and customers
- Email signature campaigns and updates
- Companywide headshots for internal and external profiles
- Keep product descriptions and images up to date in Acumatica
- Managing contact information within Acumatica
- With the expanded growth of the organization create a new warehouse catalog (digital & print)
- Develop and implement initiatives and activities relating to NSWC organizational culture.
- Work closely with all levels of the organization to inform, support, and put into practice the expectations and behaviors that support NSWC culture and team effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and tools.
- Strong understanding of web traffic metrics, and social media algorithms.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage difficult situations confidently and calmly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, various AI Platforms).
- Knowledge of HR communications and event planning.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
