Security & Track Control Supervisor
TPG is seeking a motivated, dependable, and safe Security & Track Control Supervisor that will oversee the security operations and track control activities at an automotive proving ground. This role ensures the safety and security of the facility, personnel, and test vehicles, while maintaining efficient and effective track operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, automotive testing, and track control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all security operations, including access control, surveillance, and incident response

Implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safety of the facility

Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks

Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed

Track Control Management:

Supervise track control operations, ensuring the safe and efficient use of the proving ground

Develop and enforce track usage guidelines, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures

Monitor track activities, ensuring compliance with all safety and operational standards

Coordinate track scheduling and usage with internal departments and external clients

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks of track facilities and equipment

Lead, motivate, and develop a team of security and track control personnel

Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Foster a culture of safety, security, and operational excellence

Respond to and manage security incidents, accidents, and emergencies

Conduct investigations and prepare detailed incident reports

Implement corrective actions and improvements based on incident findings

Client and Stakeholder Interaction:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding security and track control matters

Communicate effectively with clients, providing information and support as needed

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction

Prepare and manage budgets for security and track control operations
-
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to security incidents, track usage, and maintenance activities

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices
Education & Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Automotive Engineering, or a related experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management or automotive testing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

Experience in track control or automotive proving ground operations a plus

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

In-depth knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures

Familiarity with automotive testing procedures and track control operations

Ability to analyze complex situations and make sound decisions under pressure

Proficient in using security and track control software and equipment
Physical and Environmental Job Requirements

Standing, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, carrying and moving items of up to 30 lbs. and more.

Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors.

Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.

The role may involve occasional evening and weekend work, depending on operational needs.
