Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls from patients in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist patients with registration, appointment scheduling, referrals and pre-authorizations
- Address patients concerns and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or supervisors
- Make outbound calls to follow up on patient inquiries or resolve issues as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
- Meet or exceed performance goals for call volume, response time, and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of medical customer service experience
- Knowledge of basic Medical terminology, Computer and EMR skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong active listening skills with the ability to empathize and resolve customer issues
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software
Job Details:
- Full Time: M-F 8am-430pm
- Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
- Job Type: 4 weeks of training onsite then role is REMOTE
