A 200-unit midrise community in the Seattle area is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Our ideal candidate will be well-organized, detail-oriented, have a high level of integrity, take pride in their work performance, and have the ability to interact and work well with others.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain common areas and grounds to ensure they are clean and presentable to tenants and perspective tenants.
- Complete work orders within 24 hours
- Complete unit turns within Managements turn schedule
- Be able to trouble shoot appliance, electrical and plumbing issues
- On-call for emergencies, as required by the Management.
- Complete purchase orders for necessary supplies and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager
- Ensures property follows all safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Dependable/responsible/self-starter
- Minor appliance repair, painting, sheetrock, and ability to learn new skills and take direction.
- Light plumbing, and electrical skills a plus
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Read, write, and speak English
