POSITION: The primary purpose of the Lead Ortho assistant is to help lead orthodontic team to ensure the smooth operation of the orthodontic department. This position actively promotes effective and efficient operation of the practice while meeting or exceeding financial goals of the practice and/or the company. This job is to foster favorable public relations with patients, parents, staff, dentists of the practice and patients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Concentrate on current day first, next day second, i.e. an opening in a current day schedule takes priority. Monitor/track Broken Appointments and follow up to reschedule. Assist the orthodontist in all aspects of orthodontic procedures. Greet patients immediately upon arrival in pleasant and positive manner. Perform check-in procedures; obtain appropriate signatures for required documents. Present financial arrangements for orthodontic patients. Follow up on unaccepted treatment.
Qualifications:4 years of dental office experience (ortho REQUIRED)
