Our company is seeking a Business Development Specialist. This position is a vital member of our sales team, dedicated to generating new business opportunities through cold emailing, cold calling, and networking. This role requires an organized self-starter who is skilled in identifying potential clients, initiating contact, and fostering relationships to drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for tracking and analyzing customer sales trends monthly.
Business Development Specialist Responsibilities:

Lead Generation: Proactively identify and create new business opportunities through cold emails, cold calls, and networking.

Client Outreach: Initiate contact with potential clients, introducing them to our products/services and scheduling meetings for further discussions.

Pipeline Management: Maintain and update the sales pipeline, ensuring all interactions and statuses are accurately recorded in the CRM system.

Sales Trends Analysis: Track and analyze monthly customer sales trends to identify patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to align outreach strategies and ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads.

Follow-up: Diligently follow up with prospects to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.

Reporting: Prepare regular reports on lead generation activities, conversion rates, and sales trends for review by the sales manager.

Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform sales strategies.

Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build relationships and identify new business prospects.

Business Development Specialist Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in a sales or business development role, preferred but not required.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
