AFP advanced food products llc, a premier food manufacturer of puddings, cheese sauces and nutritional beverages located in Clear Lake, WI is in search of a dynamic person to fill our position of Human Resources Coordinator.
Why We Need You:
Working in close collaboration with the company’s managers, supervisors, and employees, this position provides human resource support, including recruitment, onboarding and staffing, employee relations, performance management, employee development and training, safety, and employee services. Will work collaboratively to best align HR practices with the organization needs and team-oriented structure.
A Day in the Life | Responsibilities We Trust You With:
- Inputs, maintains, audits, extracts, manipulates, and analyzes confidential HR & Employee data in the various sources to ensure record keeping compliance.
- Responsible for working with new hires in the pre-boarding and onboarding process to make sure all information is accurate and company is compliant with employment laws
- Liaison between Corporate Benefits Administrator and employees regarding benefits programs and enrollment
- Manage employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR contact
- Other duties as assigned
What You Must Know | Education and Experience:
- An associate degree or equivalent in Human Resources or Organizational Management.
- 1-3 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Manufacturing experience is preferred, particularly in food processing/packaging manufacturing environment.
- Thorough knowledge of HR related laws and practices

- Requires strong computer skills (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
- Superior problem-solving and analytical skills for long term issue resolution
- Excellent Communication (speaking and listening) skills to share information effectively, while paying careful attention to concerns and questions from employees and job applicants
- Effective organizational abilities
- Ability to work well with others while being self-motivated
- Ability to deal with a variety of changing situations in a fast-paced environment
