Logistics Associate

Position Summary
The Logistics Associate is responsible for supporting the logistics manager, lead stagers, and staging assistants by safely loading and unloading inventory from the warehouse into trucks and box vans. Along with setting up inventory in homes for staging.
APD is looking for strong team players to join our team in a fast-paced environment, out of our Concord warehouse.
All job openings are warehouse-type positions and do require lifting, moving, and traveling from warehouse to multiple job-site locations.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work within timely schedules to load (lift and move) lightweight furniture, home accessories, large artwork, and storage bins onto box vans or trucks in preparation for a home staging.
- Ensure all furniture is wrapped with stretch wrap, assembled onto truck securely with blankets and straps.
- Travel between warehouse and job-sites to complete residential staging installations
- Work within timely schedules to coordinate the completion of every staging project
- Efficiently unload (lift and move) lightweight furniture, home accessories, large artwork, and storage bins out of box van or trucks.
- Restock inventory
- Assemble furniture as needed
- Hang artwork
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Adapt to a daily changing environment and support the entire staging department in completing each project successfully
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with warehouse, truck, and furniture maintenance
- Other duties will be assigned based on warehouse needs and can include but not limited to; warehouse organization and cleanliness projects and accessory and furniture cleaning.
- Complete the ultimate staged look by doing the following:
1. Wipe and shine home décor items once placed
2. Vacuum/remove debris from floors and counter tops
3. Steam bedding and table linens
Qualifications
- Must have valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Endurance and ability to lift up to 50lbs

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
License/Certification:
