Responsibilities
We are looking to add a Medical Review Supervisor to our team of professionals.
What you'll do:
This position entails providing direction and supervision to a staff of Nurses reviewing medical records and claims data to identify and research improper payment errors. Primary responsibilities include the following:
- Oversight and assistance to the ensure sound clinical judgment is applied to claim payment decisions
- Establish goals, objectives and plans for the team
- Motivate staff and evaluate performance
- Plan resources to address workload needs, set priorities and report unit activity
- Develop, administer, and control a budget
- Administer compensation and other corporate polices
- Recruit and develop staff.
- Telework available from the contiguous United States
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure
- Six years of professional experience with an active Registered Nurse license.
- Extensive knowledge of the Medicare program, particularly the coverage and payment rules
- Two years of previous supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Strong PC knowledge and skills
- Strong leadership skills
- US Citizenship required
* The position is contingent pending contract award.*
Target Salary Range
$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
