Position Introduction
The Pre-College Programs Coordinator will provide logistical support for all summer youth programming. That will involve collaboration with marketing liaisons, vendors, and community partners; hiring and managing staff; and overseeing the provision of supplies and the use of facilities and resources.
Job Description
The Pre-College Programs Coordinator will support Program Directors on planning schedules and coordinating logistical needs for each program, collaborate with Marketing and Communications or external marketing vendors to promote all programs in alignment with the overall College brand and marketing strategy, and help hire and train summer staff and student staff during academic year.
The Pre-College Program Coordinator will manage and oversee the procurement, organization, and delivery of all summer program materials, vendors and activities, monitor student, parents and faculty requests, questions, and concerns and learn how best to address them, and plan event logistics, including room reservations, meal plans, and residence hall assignments.
The Pre-College Program Coordinator will ensure coordination and alignment with College Admission, ensuring that all youth experience the opportunity to consider their college-going plans, and promote Saint Mary’s at fairs, schools, and other youth-oriented events.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing and Communications, or a related field.
- 3 or more years of professional experience.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to excel with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, Google Suite
- Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communications and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to present a positive public image.
- Demonstrated ability to set and meet deadlines.
- The job requires after hours work during summer programs and weekend outreach activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience collaborating with faculty and academic departments.
- Comfort with social media, digital, and other contemporary marketing and promotion outlets.
- Personnel management in not-for-profit and/or higher education environments.
- Experience with summer youth and pre-college program development and oversight.
Schedule
40 Hours/ 12 Months/ Monday – Friday
