Job Overview:
As a Technical Support / Customer Service Representative at Summit Hydraulics, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, addressing technical inquiries, and resolving issues related to our hydraulic products and services. Your strong communication skills, technical expertise, and customer-centric approach will help us maintain our high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing timely and accurate information.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hydraulic products and systems.
- Provide guidance and support to customers in the selection, installation, and maintenance of hydraulic products.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM system.
- Coordinate with internal departments, such as sales, engineering, and production, to ensure customer needs are met.
- Stay current on industry trends, product updates, and emerging technologies to better support our customers.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer service processes and procedures.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams or management as needed.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as engineering or mechanics, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support or customer service role, preferably in the hydraulics industry.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, components, and applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
