Title: Help Desk Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to internal users (designers, sales, marketing, etc.) via phone, email, and in-person assistance.
- Troubleshoot a variety of technical issues related to Windows and macOS computers, including software installation, network connectivity, and peripheral devices.
- Assist with basic server administration tasks on our Synology NAS systems.
- Document technical issues and resolutions to ensure knowledge transfer and efficient problem-solving.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
Technical Skills:
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, including common applications and troubleshooting procedures.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts (e.g., network connectivity, IP addressing, troubleshooting).
- Experience with Synology NAS systems (a plus).
- Experience with Unifi network infrastructure (a plus).
Certifications:
- CompTIA A+ certification (preferred).
- Other relevant IT certifications (e.g., Network+, Security+) (a plus).
Job Logistics
Location: New York, NY – Midtown West
Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $40,000-$60,000
