We are seeking an Automotive Purchasing Supervisor oversees the procurement of automotive components and parts necessary for manufacturing vehicles. Their role involves managing sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, cost optimization, and ensuring quality standards are met. They collaborate closely with inventory, logistics, and quality control teams to maintain efficient supply chains and meet production demands. The Automotive Purchasing Supervisors play a critical role in optimizing purchasing processes to support the smooth operation of automotive manufacturing.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or the above in Mechanical or Engineering background.
- Minimum 6 years experience in purchasing position related in Automotive industry.
- Proven experience in automobile Seating parts enterprises sourcing, supplier management or a similar procurement role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain operation, familiar with different types of automobile parts, materials, and specifications.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and processes related to automobile parts.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement management systems and MS Office Suite, ERP system.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Teamwork spirit, good communication and coordination skills
- Quick learner, proactive, hard-working, honest, reliable, organized and detail oriented with strong sense of responsibility
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for automobile interior trim parts such as instrument panels and consoles, considering factors like quality, cost, lead time, and supplier reliability.
- Identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and establish long-term relationships with reliable and trustworthy suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms while maintaining quality standards.
- Identify opportunities to optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Continuously monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, on-time delivery, and responsiveness.
- Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure adequate stock levels of automotive parts. Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier reliability, geopolitical factors, market changes, and other variables affecting supply chain stability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Take necessary actions to address any performance issues and ensure consistent supply.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on purchasing performance, supplier metrics, and cost savings initiatives for management review.
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, contracts, and supplier communications.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to define and maintain quality standards for automotive components.
- Ensure suppliers adhere to these standards and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior management or as required to support company objectives.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
