As an Infrastructure Support Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, security, and reliability of our technology ecosystem. Your responsibilities will encompass the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications on employee laptop workstations, contributing to the enhancement of workflow efficiency and organizational needs, and being the point of contact with technology and infrastructure vendors for the Chicago-based office optimization
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications on 60-plus laptop workstations to meet organizational needs and enhance workflow efficiency.
- Implement and manage robust data protection measures, including regular backups and disaster recovery plans, to safeguard critical information.
- Oversee the maintenance, and troubleshooting of wired internet infrastructure to ensure reliable and high-speed connectivity.
- Maintain high-performance satellite TV and streaming solutions for a multi-TV display setup, ensuring optimal video quality and minimal latency for an immersive viewing experience.
- Deploy and maintain effective security measures to protect systems from viruses, spam, and malware, ensuring the integrity of data and system operations, aligning with existing company policies.
- Conduct regular office maintenance and hotdesking tasks on laptop workstations to optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a secure and stable computing environment.
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly, and offering guidance to optimize system usage.
- Act as the primary liaison with technology vendors, coordinating procurement, support, and other interactions to meet the organization's technological needs.
- Experience with endpoint management provider ESET, or related provider.
- Confidence in making decisions and managing multiple tasks against tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working cohesively with various teams.
- Experience with productivity management software; Jira, Confluence, and Monday preferred
- Collaborates and communicates well within a team, contributing to group goals and projects.
- This is not a remote position. Reliable private or public transportation to the downtown Chicago office is required.
- Adaptability to swiftly changing environments and the ability to remain poised under pressure.
- English skills (written and spoken) are required.
- Deep knowledge of operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools
- A background in computer science or a related field.
- Hands-on expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing office laptop workstation and software solutions, preferably in a startup environment.
- Working knowledge of Ubiquiti, Lenovo, Dell, Office 365 products, VoIP platforms, and scheduling software.
