TITLE: I.T. Information Technology Support Specialist

SALARY RANGE $50,000 - $75,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
About Us: Youthnet is a nonprofit agency committed to serving children, youth and families. The majority of our programs revolve around foster care services for children and youth, but we also partner with and support families in need. Ultimately, we are working together to create opportunities for healing from the past and promoting hope for the future. We support a remote staff of 80 dedicated individuals who rely on our IT infrastructure to perform their daily tasks effectively.
Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining our IT infrastructure, supporting our remote staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with an external consulting company. Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and ExtendedReach Case Management Software is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support to 70 remote staff members, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Some travel required.
· Develop and maintain an inventory of all IT equipment and software currently in use.
· Configure and deploy new devices and software for staff members.
· Collaborate with an external consulting company for additional support and projects as needed.
· Implement and manage Microsoft Intune for device management and security.
· Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies and best practices.
· Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes, systems, and configurations.
· Act as a resource and research guide in evaluating software, Internet sites, technological tools and equipment.
· Train staff on new systems, software, and IT best practices.
· Assist in developing IT policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and security.
· Provide support and training for ExtendedReach Case Management Software, if applicable.
· Address specific technical issues such as slow computer performance, disappearing files, and unreliable video conferencing tools.
· Improve communication tools and ensure secure email solutions for handling confidential information.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
· Proven experience in IT support, particularly in a remote work environment.
· Experience with Google Workspace and Office 365, experience with migrations between the two platforms a plus.
· Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
· Proficiency with network management and security.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Familiarity with nonprofit organizations and their unique IT needs is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with Microsoft Intune for device management.
· Experience with ExtendedReach Case Management Software.
· Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or equivalent.
· Experience with cloud services, virtualization, and remote desktop support tools.
· Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations.
