Delta Phi Epsilon at the University of Michigan
The live-in house director has two essential responsibilities: to manage day-to-day operations of the house, reporting to the International Headquarters, and to establish a sense of belonging for all chapter women based on a relationship of mutual respect and rapport. The house director manages the day-to-day operations of the house including (1) house administration; (2) member relationship and support; (3) facility security and safety; and (4) oversight and management of facility operations including maintenance, and repairs.
The house director will ensure that the highest quality of service is provided in compliance with all chapter rules/bylaws as well as the National Housing Corporation, International Headquarters, and University policies to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for live-in members as well as members visiting the house and, as appropriate, guests and visitors. The house director lives at the chapter facility and must be present 7 days and 7 nights weekly except for agreed chapter and personal activities when the house is open, excluding school-year holiday breaks when the facility is closed.
This is a full time live-in position.
