What We Need:
We are hiring a Sr. IT Business Analyst with experience in Salesforce to join our team in Muscatine, Iowa. At HNI, we use Salesforce to manage and grow our customer relationships. Our IT Go-To-Market team of business analysts and project managers partner with our developers to provide the Salesforce configurations, customizations, enhancements, and integrations that drive much of HNI's growth.
In this position, you will have an understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and will actively participate in requirements gathering, design, user acceptance test planning, testing and implementation for a variety of customizations and enhancements to the Salesforce platform. This role will analyze our business processes and needs and identify opportunities for improvement through configuration and customization solutions through Salesforce. Where development support is needed, this role will translate business requirements into technical specifications.
In addition to supporting the business with custom solutions, this business analyst identified solutions within the Salesforce platform, whether through enabling features, configuration changes, or enhancements available through add-ons and licensed services.
Finally, our ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with solid visual representation skills. Our business analysts help our users understand their needs and identify solutions through wireframes and mock-ups created using visualization tools such as Figma, Canva, or a similar application.

HNI is headquartered in Muscatine, Iowa. This position requires someone to be on-site in a hybrid capacity (3 days a week). Ensure the effective translation of business requirements into technical specifications that guide IT system design and implementation.

Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions
Salesforce Administration (33%)

Demonstrate Salesforce capabilities by implementing Proof of Concept pilots

Configure Salesforce settings for users and ensure functionality aligns with business needs.

Design and implement Salesforce solutions, including custom fields, page layouts, workflows, process builder rules, and reports.

Maintain the Salesforce system, handle basic administrative functions, and manage user roles and permissions.

Provide training and support to Salesforce users, ensuring they can utilize the platform effectively.

Develop and maintain detailed documentation on Salesforce processes, solutions, and training materials.

Stay updated with new Salesforce features and functionalities, ensuring the company utilizes the platform effectively.
User Experience (33%)

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma, Penpot, Sketch, InVision, or Canva.

Iterate on UX models and wireframes to enhance user interaction with Salesforce applications.
What You Have:

Bachelor’s degree preferred or at least 4 years of equivalent experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Salesforce Certification(s)

5+ years combined experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner

3+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (and/or ExactTarget), Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud

Salesforce.com administration and configuration experience
