S&OP Analyst
Job Summary
The S&OP Analyst is an integral part of the Supply Chain team, responsible for developing and managing KPIs that drive critical business decisions. They will be responsible for identifying areas of optimization, driving those ideas to conclusion and developing metrics to ensure sustainability. This role will interact with all areas of the business - Sales, Logistics, Customer Service, Business Planning and Finance and regularly make presentations to the Director and VP levels.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop unique views of data that identify areas of improvement in the supply chain. This can involve creating visualizations, developing KPI’s, and reporting cost savings and margin impacts.
Provide analytical support to drive improvement in Demand Management
Work with cross functional team members to propose strategy recommendations and corrective actions
Run linear program models to identify optimal asset utilization
Develop KPIs and dashboards to ensure business improvements are maintained and to highlight performance against key metrics.
Develop reporting and analysis to help supply chain manage by exception
Tasks:
Lead analytics and reporting for generating actionable business insights
Create KPIs for tracking supply chain performance metrics.
Quantify the financial opportunities for initiatives.
Develop tools and reports to enable visibility for initiative opportunities.
Extract and analyze data from ERPs (SAP, AX, SAGE, etc.).
Calculate and report realized savings for initiatives.
Create practical and repeatable processes for reporting and tracking initiative updates.
Apply best practices for the communication of information through the use of visual tools.
Skills and Attributes Requirements:
Proactive and results oriented
Ability to transform data into business information, insights, and recommendations
Experience communicating and presenting to varying leadership levels at the appropriate level of detail
Understanding of Supply Chain concepts
Data validation and modeling experience
Aptitude for creating repeatable processes and driving process improvement
Strong initiative with ability to work with the appropriate level of supervision
Alteryx and SAP a plus
Education/Experience Requirements:
Analyst with minimum of 2 years’ of experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Supply Chain, Finance, or related fields.
Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
Advanced capability in Excel
Experience working in a multicultural fast-paced environment
