The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 118,900.00 USD - 156,000.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives. Reporting to the Director, Global Consumer Insights, the Associate Manager, Consumer Insights, will manage the development and socialization of consumer insights to help guide business and brand strategy across our portfolio of mission driven global brands. Key focus areas include brand health tracking and reporting, marketing research including marketing mix analysis, assessing impact of product design and creative campaigns, and exploring consumer and cultural trends. Opportunity to work on new product development and innovation white space research as well.
Please note: This is San Francisco, CA office-based role. 1 day remote per week.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
The Associate Manager, Consumer Insights will:
Represent the voice of the consumer in brand and business discussions
Lead brand and marketing research for multiple brands, including: multi-market brand tracking and reporting, MMA agency partnership, ad concept testing, and using insights to inform marketing goals
Partner with marketing, product, creative, business, and sales teams to keep consumers top of mind for company workstreams, including but not limited to brand positioning, marketing activity, consumer loyalty, and product innovation pipeline
Identify and fill key knowledge gaps about current and prospective consumers
Lead research projects with agency partners from beginning to end, including defining research goals, recommending appropriate methodologies, managing the RFP process, and managing vendor relationships to ensure reports meet desired objectives
Lead research projects internally via digital platforms like dScout, Suzy, etc. from beginning to end, including defining research goals, recommending appropriate methodologies, writing questionnaires and/or discussion guides, managing online surveys and/or moderating qualitative discussions, conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis, and writing findings presentations
Identify and share insights-driven implications and recommendations that move our brands and business goals forward
Assist in managing the global insights budget
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years experience working in consumer insights and research
5+ years experience working with consumer-facing brand(s), either in house or at an agency
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Experience with a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Experience with the following methodologies is particularly relevant: brand tracking studies, segmentations, ad measurement, usage and attitude studies, ethnographies, focus groups, market mix modeling
Strong communication skills, both presenting and in writing: clear, concise, compelling, and able to present to senior audiences with impact
Experience engaging with product development teams
