: In search of a new Team Member who will provide and facilitate care for an underserved population, while maintaining professionalism and embodying a confident, can-do attitude. This role will require the CMA to provide both clerical and clinical support for a team of Providers.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the daily flow of the Urgent Care
- Prepares exam/treatment rooms
- Basic triage of each patient
- Assisting Providers with procedures
- Performing POC (Point of Care) testing and EKGs
- Maintaining the sterilization of tools and following guidelines to maintain health compliance
- Dispensing medications (Injections and Oral)
- Wound Care
- Stocking/Ordering supplies as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Current Medical Assistant Certification in the State of California
- Phlebotomy License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced medical setting
- (1) year Experience working in a clinic, urgent care, or primary care setting
