The position of Behavior Technician (also known as Behavior Therapist or Therapeutic Instructor) offers an immensely fulfilling opportunity to impact the lives children positively. As a member of the PHP team, you will play a vital role in assisting young ones in reaching significant milestones such as their first words, forming friendships, adapting to classroom settings, and nurturing a love for learning.
As a Behavior Technician, your responsibilities include:
- Coordinate an array of services that support successful residence within family homes.
- Serve as a resource for individuals and their families through training, guidance, and resources to navigate available services.
- Foster collaboration among service providers to deliver consistent and effective training that aligns with the unique needs of each person and their family.
- Enable seamless scheduling and transportation options for medical appointments and community engagement.
- Develop backup plans and futures planning to ensure ongoing support, particularly for those living with aging caregivers.

Information on Behavior Technician Compensation:

- Possess experience or a strong interest in child development and a commitment to child well-being.
- Ideally hold a college degree or be currently enrolled in college, with a preference for studies in psychology, behavioral health, child development, or mental health.
- Meet health and safety requirements, including childhood vaccinations, a non-reactive TB test, and reliable transportation.
