Job Description:
As a Dental Receptionist at Forte Dental, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the front office and creating a positive experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the office
- Answer and manage phone calls in a polite and professional manner
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Maintain patient records and update information in our dental software
- Verify patient insurance information
- Collect payments and handle financial transactions
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure timely patient flow
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and scheduling.
- Address patient concerns and provide information about dental services
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a dental or medical setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in using Dentrix is preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance procedures is an advantage
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
