Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Reservation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of room reservations, ensuring seamless communication with guests and internal departments. This role is ideal for those who enjoy providing exceptional hospitality, have experience in the hospitality industry, and possess a passion for ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all reservation inquiries and requests via phone, email, or in-person.
- Utilize hotel management software to manage room inventory and make adjustments as needed.
- Provide accurate and detailed information to guests regarding their reservations, including room rates, amenities, and services.
- Process cancellations, modifications, and changes to existing reservations.
- Ensure all guest information is accurate and up-to-date in the reservation system.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all materials and supplies are readily available.
- Work closely with the night audit team to ensure all financial transactions are accurate and complete.
- Perform night audit tasks as required, including reviewing and reconciling front desk transactions.
- Demonstrate a commitment to delivering a positive guest experience, ensuring every interaction is friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a front desk or reservation role.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive guest experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software, including phone systems.

- Experience with night audit procedures is an advantage.
