PURPOSE:
A position providing computer hardware and software support to ACC's end users in a timely and effective manner. 40 hrs. I week, scheduled between 7 am and 6 pm arranged M-F some weekends and holidays on request.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
- Responds to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical support.
- Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
- Manages IT inventory and supplies.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- A general understanding of the principles and concepts of computers and networks.
- Good customer service skills.
- Good analytical and diagnostic skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with one or more MS applications, preferably Office 365.
- Experience with MS Windows 10 Professional/Enterprise, Android, and IOS operating system(s).
- Good written and oral communications skills, strong attention to detail and willingness to follow directions and established procedures with minimal supervision.
- High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
- 0-3 related experience in Desktop Support.
- Adapts to change, open to new ideas and responsibilities.
- Communicates well (written and verbal), delivers presentations, has good listening skills.
- Perform tasks with a computer. Email, research, interaction with others via the internet. Creating and editing documents typically with utilizing MSOffice; word documents, spreadsheets and create a slide presentation (Power Point). The level of proficiency is defined by the requirements of the position held.

Moderate noise level is typical for the work environment of this job.
