Overview:
PepsiCo, a leader in the food and beverage industry, has an opening for a role on the PFNA Quality Assurance Team. This role is required to support PFNA Quality Systems agenda thru providing data measurement, analysis of data to provide the business with actionable insights, identify smart compliance opportunities leveraging a risk-based approach, and find ways to digitize and automate our data collection systems.
The candidate must have superb organizational, communication, and analytical skills. This person will be a key leader of the Foods North America team. The ideal candidate will be a big thinker and self-starter. They must be able to drive impact, influence others and articulate ideas through all levels of the organization. They must be able to develop effective working relationships and gain resource support to enable business and team success.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the Newly created FSQA organization in Delivering New Product Innovation for PFNA (Quaker, Canada)

Provide expert knowledge and experience to project activities within foods R&D and plant operations to manage quality testing, food safety, and all other Quality areas

Be a results-oriented “change agent” who can understand different scenarios and help facilitate big-picture and tactical execution throughout all projects

Successfully deploy existing quality tools to enable business speed and agility

Manage multiple project work streams and support new product initiatives in a highly complex strategic role which there may be little precedent

Ability to clearly communicate and win support of ideas and plans to all levels of the organization, both written and verbally

Champion creative-thinking and people development to elevate and grow dedicated team members while supporting career aspirations

Ability to travel to field locations (10% - 15%)
Compensation & Benefits:
-
The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,300 - $111,000 based on a full-time schedule

Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary

Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually

Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications:

Bachlors degree a must, Siecnce or related fields are accepted.

3-5 years experience in a consumer goods company
-
Background in Supply Chain/Operations/Quality Controle/Quality Assurance and Foods Safety

Knowledge and experience in Foods processes including products, packaging and process equipment
-
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Quality & Food Safety Metrics, audit practices. Certified Quality Auditor or Certified Quality Engineer a plus

Demonstrated ability to identify critical data and distill into business-focused technical recommendations

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and change

Strong leadership, influencing & consensus building skills

Proven track record of achievement in a matrix organization and an ability to cultivate good cross functional partnerships

Excellent communication & presentation skills; ability to simplify complex concepts & systems to drive alignment around critical objectives
