Job description
Job Responsibilities include:
- Prepare federal and multi-state tax returns for S & C corporations, Partnerships with (disregarded entities), individuals & trusts
- Prepare Sales Tax Returns
- Preparation of bi weekly payroll and monthly commissions
- Perform tax research
- Resolve tax notices from IRS or other tax authorities
- Analyze and review consolidated financial statements with detailed workpapers
- Assist with outside Accountants for review
- General Ledger management
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA, CPA candidates or EA's are preferred)
- Minimum 5 years tax preparation and accounting experience in public accounting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe products
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
- Proficient with accounting/bookkeeping software including QuickBooks
- Knowledge of Lacerte a plus
