Real Estate Investment company in Chicago suburbs seeking a Bookeeper/ Office Assistant.
This role will involve a full spectrum of bookkeeping responsibilities for a fast-paced real estate investment firm/family office. This position is ideal for a multi-tasking self-starter who consistently demonstrates a professional, proactive and positive attitude.
Responsibilities include:-Prepare monthly journal entries, trial balances and maintain general ledgers-Handle full A/P process from invoice entry through close-Process A/R, Payroll-Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements including lender reporting-Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliations and account analysis. Review and perform internal audits of property management accounting reports-Assist in preparing quarterly distributions and cash flow analysis-Assist with annual budgeting process and ad hoc projects-Interface and support asset management with timely financial information Criteria:-work related field, preferred-1-3 years’ experience in property management.
Strong QuickBooks and Excel experience required-Experience in Appfolio, Onesite and/or Yardi Voyager preferred. Ability to multi-task-Effective verbal and written communication skills Competitive compensation,
