Job Description:
The IT technician collaborates closely with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality technical support services. You will be part of our team, serving as an internal advocate for our customers while maintaining a friendly and competent representation of User Friendly Technology Services.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement and administer Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and support Microsoft Intune.
- Office 365 migrations for tenants and emails.
- Ongoing support for client's Microsoft and Network infrastructures.
- Implement and administer infrastructure for business solutions based on Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019.
- Track the progress of open projects and tickets to ensure timely resolution of client requests.
- Assist in assigning appropriate resources to support tickets and projects, considering skill sets and workload distribution.
- Identify and address urgent issues promptly to minimize downtime and client impact.
- Coordinate with team members to optimize onsite visit scheduling efficiency and client responsiveness.
- Assist in procurement monitoring to maintain adequate inventory levels for ongoing operations.
- Ensure project schedules align with client expectations and company resources.
- Support teamwork and knowledge sharing to enhance overall team performance and morale.
- Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues demonstrating mastery of a wide range of technologies and platforms.
- Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive IT solutions, including network infrastructure, cloud services, and security frameworks, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Show initiative by taking proactive steps to identify and tackle tasks and challenges independently.
- Promote proactive and professional communication with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Implement and administer virtual environments for both desktops and servers based on Microsoft, VMWare products.
- Configure and manage enterprise applications such as Active Directory, SQL, SharePoint, and third-party applications.
- Provide tier 3 troubleshooting support for a complete range of systems and network issues.
- Document systems and provide knowledge transfer for our support team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers that further develop our Company's positive reputation through exceptional customer service.
- VoIP implementation and support.
Requirements:
- Minimum five years of experience of increasing levels of technical knowledge and exposure to Microsoft based cloud technologies including: Azure, Active Directory, Intune, Sharepoint, Teams, etc.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare and Hyper-V).
- Minimum five years of experience of increasing levels of technical knowledge and exposure with Networking technologies: Switching, Routing, Firewall, VLAN, Site to Site VPN Tunnels, etc.
- Experience with Sonicwall and Cisco Meraki Firewalls, MSP360 / Cloudberry backup software, and FreePBX / Asterisk a big plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends.

- Ability to travel to multiple clients daily if needed (75% of work is conducted remotely from our office).
- Ability to respond to off-hour technical emergencies when on an extended call.
