19six is currently seeking a highly motivated Project Administrator to join our team in Roseville/Sacramento.
As a Project Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting multiple project managers and team members during the course of the project. This role requires strong multitasking skills, meticulous attention to detail, and being able to manage several deadlines at the same time. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Role & Responsibilities
- Agencies Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) Assist project managers with Agency applications and submittal packages. Prepare drafts of plan check response letters. Coordinate changes to agencies for approval.
- Specifications Understand specification formats and assist with compiling project manuals.
- Construction Administration Work with client, engineering consultants, general contractor, and project team to process and log project related documents during construction phase including Submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), Architect’s Supplemental Information (ASIs), Construction Change Directives (CCDs), addenda, field reports and punch lists.
- Scheduling/Meetings/Administration Work with project teams to set project schedules, calendar meetings, and prepare meeting agenda and minutes. Help project managers in soliciting consultant proposals and misc. administrative tasks.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience in lieu of education.
- Minimum 4 (four) years’ experience in a professional service organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proven ability working with Bluebeam Revu (Projects and Studio Sessions)
- Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint, Newforma, Procore or similar project management tools highly desired.
- Must be extremely organized and able to help organize others.
- Previous work in A/E/C industry with project administration experience.
- Industry knowledge including understanding of Architectural Drawings, Specifications, and Construction is a plus
