We are seeking a dynamic Staff Development Coordinator RN to become an integral part of our team! You will design and conduct training programs to improve individual and organizational performance.
Responsibilities:
- Implement in-person and electronic training programs focused on individual performance
- Summit to the Health Department an application for renewal of approval of the nurse assistant training programs as required by regulation.
- Schedule, develop and teach training programs and maintain appropriate documentation of participation and competency, according to regulation.
- Develop training initiatives and strategies to improve organizational performance
- Interview applicants for nursing and CNA positions
- Conduct new hire orientation sessions
- Survey employees and managers to determine training needs and desired results
- Provide Director of Nursing with monthly outlines of the planned educational programs
- Assist Director of Nursing when necessary
Qualifications:
- GA RN license in good standing
- Prior experience in skilled nursing/long-term care
- Previous experience in training, human resources, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with trainees
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
