Job Description
We're a fast-growing property management company. We specialize in managing investors real estate portfolio and section 8 tenants. Currently, we’re looking for a skilled hard-working reliable handyman who wants to grow with us. This person will be under the direct supervision of our property manager and will assist our maintenance department in maintaining the properties we managed. You must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are greatly valued in for this position.
Handyman Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Perform walk throughs and pass section 8 inspection
- Perform general maintenance and repairs such as drywall work, patching, plastering, sanding etc.
- Electrical repairs and plumbing repairs such as snaking a line, replacing a toilet, replacing water heater.
- Replace bathroom & faucet & vanities, shower head, resurface bath tub etc.
- Undertake floor installation (tile, carpeting)
- Install AC wall unit
- Identify and report the need for major repairs
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as handyman
- Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems
- Good communication ability
- Well-organized and apt in problem-solving
- Must have own vehicle and tools and clean driver’s license.
Salary based on experience and level of expertise.
