We are seeking a Café/Kitchen Manager for a new hotel cafe opening in West Los Angeles. Responsible for running all aspects of the business including ordering ingredients, managing a small team, customer service, recruiting, training, and meeting health and safety standards. The food will be light and healthy cafe items that are prepared onsite with some baked goods that are outsourced, The setting is QSR style cafe with an outstanding coffee program. This will be an hourly position with a start time in the AM.

- Ensuring all menus and ingredient selections are in accordance with the Cafe philosophy and standards.
- Seamless operation and functioning of the Bakery, ensuring the very best customer service levels at all times.
- Meeting/exceeding sales goals and adhering to strict food and non-food budgets.
- Develop a creative environment that fosters teamwork and values collaboration.
- Planning and coordinating events within the establishment.
- Develop and oversee the catering business from start to finish including developing menus, pricing, and invoicing.
- Develop and maintain the grocery business by sourcing new products, tracking sales and adhering to merchandising standards.
