Job Overview:
The Senior Solutions Architect will work closely with customers to schedule, execute, and deliver projects on time based on submitted requests. He will be responsible for full Knowledge of all Spirent tools and processes used for voice quality, call performance, data performance, and video performance to enable him to communicate value propositions to clients and partners.

Job Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand and capture requirements.
- Build and communicate the value proposition with client executives and key partners.
- Incorporate internal and third-party suppliers as appropriate to develop testing architecture to meet the customer needs.
- Design and document a comprehensive 5G/LTE connectivity solution architecture for 5G core, RAN, transport, devices, and security testing and the associated performance metrics for both public and private networks.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant work-related experience.
- Solid understanding of wireless device test plans and experience with mobile phone field testing.
- Experience with device testing, benchmarking, and device troubleshooting is required.
- Understanding of wireless device hardware and software development lifecycle.
- Previous experience with device OEM R&D team is preferred.
- Deep knowledge of operating systems like Android and iOS, with the ability to understand the application of various APIs helpful for creating new test solutions.
- Ability to apply knowledge of RF bands, voice codecs, and video codecs to create user experience, device performance testing, and benchmarking solutions for new technology rollouts.
- Understanding of data statistics to determine test sample quantities and pass/fail criteria.
- Experience working with OEM chipset data analysis.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python to help with data analysis from various types of data sources like Excel spreadsheets, CSV files, etc., and automate various tasks during the proof-of-concept stage of a solution.
- Published articles or technical thought leadership or research papers on future technologies.
- Knowledge/working on 3GPP 4G and 5G SA/NSA Network architecture is a must.
- Experience working with 5G packet core functional features both data plane (UPF) and control plane (AMF, SMF, etc.), and knowledge of 3GPP 5G Core standards and its various interfaces.
- Skilled at triaging issues across 4G/5G RAN, Core, and transport network components via tools from mobile (DM logs) and core.
- Experience and understanding of Core deployment in hyper-scaler cloud platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of reporting tools like Power BI and Tableau.
- Good understanding of GSM, UMTS/WCDMA, CDMA, LTE, and 5G.
- Understanding of end-to-end call flow, Core to RAN to mobile device.
- Dependable, trustworthy, good attention to detail, organized, and efficient.
- Excellent understanding of process improvement principles.
- Ability to easily communicate with customers and clients.
- Experience in Test Collection Management.
- Knowledge and experience in customer-focused Project Management.
- Experience working with product business groups for features/enhancements.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work alone and unsupported and be prepared to be re-routed every step of the way.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
