Position Summary:
Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading Fleet Maintenance companies in the US, is seeking an
experienced Head of FP&A to join our growing company! The Head of FP&A will be a key player for Amerit Fleet Solutions by:

Lead & direct and FP&A organization of 3 (including this role).

Driving accurate, consistent financial reporting.

Lead contract pricing and profitability analysis, including NPV, IRR and ROI (if applicable).

Providing actionable insight to Department / Divisional heads on profitability and performance vs budget; provide operational suggestions to increase profit.

Supporting the development of periodic management presentations and supporting schedules, including business reviews, strategic plans, and other leadership presentations and annual plans as needed.

Partnering closely with executive team, segement leaders, and other management teams, to provide financial guidance to business leadership
This person must be located in either Charlotte, NC (preferable) or San Francisco Bay Area, CA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
What the role looks like:
Reporting (30%)
-
Assist in the production of the monthly Financials Statements.

Engage in variance analysis on results; maintain understanding of company profitability.

Consolidate and analyze monthly operational results working closely with leaders throughout
-
Provide visibility to direct contract productivity reporting and analyses.
-
Provide support in capital investments and monitor/report capex against budget spending and engage with cross functional teams to understand variances Budgeting/ Planning.

Assist in creation of annual operating and overhead budgets in partnership with Operations and

Support monthly P&L review process by reviewing actual results versus plan, preparing monthly variance reports for business owners, and analyzing key performance drivers.
Forecasting (25%)

Collaborate with CFO, CEO, COO and Segment Leaders to maintain updated Long-Term Forecast.

Quantify and articulate risks and opportunities in achieving forecasts.

Create ad-hoc forecasts as needed during key periods to provide insights into areas of risk and opportunity and influence business strategies.
Analysis (25%)

Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships with key business partners to ensure alignment on strategies to maximize financial results.

Review trends to identify, communicate, and take action on key business opportunities.

Conduct ad-hoc analyses and build financial models to inform strategies, investment recommendations, and new business opportunities.
Leadership/Supervisory (20%)

Must lead and direct an FP&A organization of 3 to accomplish the shared objectives above (including this role).
Our ideal candidate will have:
-
+ 8-10 years in key operational strategic planning, (or 5+ years if with a master’s degree or equivalent) scaling operations driven by growth.

Experience in a contract-based business services, industrial services or automotive industry.

Financial analysis techniques, budgeting/forecasting processes.
-
Strong ability to analyze and interpret operational metrics and investment models.
-
Strong PC skills, including advanced knowledge of HFM, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong financial/cost analysis and budgeting/forecasting skills.
-
Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business
-
Administration, or any other related field.

Certifications such as CPA/CMA, CFA, and or FPAC a plus.

Proficiency in Written and Verbal form communication required to document and generate reports that are clear, convincing, informative, engaging, unambiguous, and uniquely tailored to suit different audiences.

Capability to lead operational strategic initiatives in support of the COO, CFO, Segment Leaders, and Sales Operations/Integrations.

Advanced proficiency in using Ms Word, Ms Excel (including pivot tables, v-lookups, h-lookups, advance formulas, which are all necessary for the creation of visually and verbally engaging reports, for the various assigned departmental heads, management, and stakeholders.

Must possess strong analytical skills, sound business acument, and be comfortable working with senior management.

Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, proven ability to work across all levels and functions.

Detail-oriented with attention to quality/accuracy.

Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, concurrently handling multiple projects.

Our current primary applications are Peoplesoft, DOMO, and Adaptive Insights. Any experience with these applications is a plus.
