PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This position exists to ensure the direct line of communication between the branches and the Vice President of Branch Operations in all operational aspects of regional branches. This position is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient branch operations, quality member service, performance, and compliance with regulations and policies. Communicate professionally and effectively with all staff and levels of management.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist Vice President of Branch Operations with overseeing all aspects of branch operations to ensure quality member service is provided.
2. Ensure a direct line of communication is actively and efficiently established between the branches and the Vice President of Branch Operations.
3. Manage designated Teller and Account Officer Float staff and coordinate schedules.
4. Review staffing reports, maintain proper staffing levels, and ensure members receive prompt service.
5. Coach Branch Managers in achieving sales, service, and operational goals. Advise Branch Managers on staffing, operational issues, conducting training, meetings, and team building.
6. Ensure the credit union objectives and initiatives are followed through at the branches.
7. Utilize effective coaching methods and provide feedback to encourage and help employees exceed in relationship building and develop new skills and achieve goals.
8. Act as a subject matter expert in all operational processes and procedures.
9. Assist the Training Department in developing a procedural manual for staff training and sales referral goals.
10. Interview and hire branch staff as designated.
11. Keep informed and communicate needed changes and changing trends in product offerings to maintain competitiveness in our market.
12. Ensure all operating procedures adhere to all federal and state regulations.
13. Ability to successfully perform the duties, responsibilities, and functions of the positions overseen and train employees to successful performance in job duties, responsibilities, and functions.
14. Responsible for hiring, communicating expectations, defining goals, coaching, and developing, recognizing success, and evaluating performance and behavior of their direct reports.
15. Actively and thoughtfully communicating with their supervisor, planning their goals and development, taking accountability for their actions, and striving for excellence.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or financial industry or related experience.
Three to five years lending experience.
Three to five years management experience.
Travel minimum of two days per week to branches.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of lending policies and procedures.
Knowledge of all laws and regulations regarding this position.
Knowledge of credit union operations.
Ability to perform duties under pressure.
Ability to sell.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent decision-making skills.

Self-motivator.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sedentary work Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITES:
The following physical activities will be required on a day-to-day basis: climbing, stooping, crouching, reaching, walking, pulling, fingering, feeling, hearing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, pushing, lifting, grasping, talking, repetitive motions.

Ability to communicate effectively with members, staff, outside sources, the CEO and the Board of Directors in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
