Job Overview:
Sonoma Harvest, an Olive Oil Factory company, is a family-owned Tasting Room focused on delivering the highest quality oil, vinegar, and customer service, in an environment that feels laid back and comfortable. We are looking for a Tasting Room Associate to join our team and be a part of the Sonoma Harvest Experience. We have an outstanding part-time opportunity for an enthusiastic and friendly individual with 3 or more years of retail experience. Event and winery experience a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Greeting all visitors to the tasting room
- Pour wine for tasting while guiding customers to wines they enjoy
- Effectively suggest and sell product to customers
- Advise customers by providing information on products
- Handle routine purchasing transactions, which include operating cash register
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tasting room
- Stocking wine and retail merchandise
- Pull and pack online orders and prepare them for timely shipment
- Assist with building kitchen kits and other special orders
- Assist with cycle counts and master inventory counts
- Process all new items, including price tagging and merchandising
- Assist with customer engagement, including orders, complaints, feedback, and questions
- Assist with events and answering renter questions, providing day of support, and troubleshooting
- Maintain the cleanliness of the event space to ensure it is presentable for events and sales tours

Requirements:
- At least 21 years of age
- Must have 3 years of retail experience - event and winery experience, a plus
- Must be polite, engaging, and helpful
- Must be able to lift 25lbs on a regular basis
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for up to 8 hours a day (with breaks)
- Must be able to bend and twist
- Must be able to lift from floor, overhead and, above shoulders
- Must have reliable transportation, be punctual, and maintain good attendance
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Must be able to perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Weekends, holidays and evenings required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 24 per week
