We are looking for people to help us out in our Wauwatosa Warehouse as Food Packaging Operators on our 2nd shift.
Become a machine operator with our job training. You will make $17.75/hour after successful training is completed
(typically 1 month).

As a food packaging operator, you will work in our Production Department and help package our high quality spices for our customers. The job involves working independently as well as working with others within the department. A willingness to learn, help out where needed and accept new tasks are an important part of the job. During the packaging process there are important safety and quality processes that are involved. We provide thorough training.
Full Time Shifts Available:
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm

Your daily job will include:
- Understanding and following safety standards, good manufacturing practices (GMP), and company standards
- Operating a packaging machine, general machine diagnosis, and machine maintenance
- Loading production lines with containers and product
- Packing finished product units into cases and palletizing those cases
- Monitoring quality of raw materials and finished product units to ensure consistency with Penzeys quality standards
- Cleaning machinery and packaging area
- Guiding machine operator assistants, communicating with forklift operators, leadership, and other employees in the production room.
- Determining raw materials and other items needed to complete each job card
- Recording the daily packaged material, quality control checks, and machine maintenance repairs.
- Other duties as assigned
Physical requirements:
