We value endless growth and learning, a team mentality, discipline and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate would possess:
· Vacuum all ceiling tiles, replace any if damaged. Vacuum all air vents. Vacuum all chandelier cords from ceiling and all mirror cords. Perform full cleaning on all chandeliers. Vacuum Entry carpet. Vacuum wallpaper walls to remove any dust bunnies.
· Remove product from shelves and clean shelves using a cleaner and re-assemble products accordingly.
· Clean stone counter tops with Neutral PH Cleaner including the hot tool area where stylists conduct business. Make sure to remove hot tools and metal holders and perform a deep clean.
· Clean product trays on counter. Clean salon chairs with hot soapy water. Do the detail work of cleaning all metal areas where product can build up.
· Wipe footrail and detail areas with hot soapy towel. Magic eraser scuffs on face of bar & any
· Clean hair traps in shampoo room as well as maintain sinks are clean and surrounding areas. There should be no hair and area should look spotless. All shampoo chairs need to be deep cleaned with soapy warm water.
· Snake drains throughout building monthly ensuring everything is clean.
· Clean Bathroom ensuring its spotless – removing any buildup.
· Clean floors with Neutral PH Floor cleaner.
· Clean glass both sided in entry with window cleaning kit. (depending on location, this may be a monthly task)
· Replace any bulbs that are burnt out.
· Provide feedback on state of store when they arrive to management. Manage supplies as needed.
· Maintain tools and equipment provided (provide feedback on new ideas to perform better with new tools or cleaning supplies)
· Transport tools/ supplies from location to location. Submit orders as needed per location.
· Complete a checklist for each location.
· Perform touchup paint if necessary.
· Replace HVAC filters monthly.
We want you to succeed in this position and will help coach you in refining your skills. The ideal candidate would possess:
- At least 3 years of experience cleaning retail stores or similar.
- Great personality and people skills to provide a positive, memorable experience for guests.
- Knowledge and practice of workplace safety procedures.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lift regularly up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Ability to sustain standing and walking throughout shift. Capable of gripping items and reaching with hands and arms. Will be required on occasion to travel for business purposes, which will entail driving a personal automobile and using various means of public transportation.
