Requirements:
Bilingual Skills (a Plus):Bilingualism is considered a valuable asset in early childhood education, as it can enhance communication with children who speak languages other than English and their families.
Being bilingual allows for better engagement with children from diverse linguistic backgrounds, fostering a more inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Education in Early Childhood Education or a Related Field (Preferred):A Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or Child Development Associate (CDA) certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
CPR and First Aid Certification: CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid certification are essential for ensuring the safety and well-being of young children in case of emergencies or accidents. (Completed within 60 days of employment)
Experience Working with Early Learners: Prior experience working with early learners is helpful. This experience helps individuals understand the unique needs and developmental stages of young learners. Practical experience can also provide insights into effective classroom management and teaching strategies for this age group.
