Role Overview
The Junior System Administrator plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our Kalleo customers. As a System Administrator, they provide technical leadership and remote support, serving as the first point of escalation beyond the Help Desk Technician, Level 1. With a focus on Server and Network infrastructure items, this role involves diagnosing customer problems by gathering information through direct questioning and utilizing industry leading management platforms and remote access tools.
We are looking for someone with at least three years of advanced technical experience who can troubleshoot and maintain a variety of customer applications and environments. These may include Windows servers, domain environments, RDS, Citrix, Cloud and virtual environments, EMR/LoB applications, and more. Along with incident resolution, basic service request fulfillment, and problem determination, this role requires the ability to produce and maintain documentation.

As a Junior System Administrator, you will provide leadership and technical direction to junior staff and tackle complex technical problems for our customers.
Essential Responsibilities

- Familiarity with installing and managing SSL Certificates.
- Ability to recover or rebuild client site systems, and applications (reverse engineer).
- Work includes occasional weekend or after hours’ time, when necessary.
- Occasional travel offsite / to customer sites.
- Read, write, and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and original equipment manufacturer guides.
- Participate in periodic technical meetings.
- Training and mentorship of junior team members.
- Completion of a yearly training plan and/or certifications, as required.
- Any other task or duty as assigned or required.
Qualifications and Experience
Required
- 4+ years’ experience supporting both Servers and Workstations or equivalent
Desired
- 4+ years’ experience supporting Network implementations
- Citrix Certifications or experience
- VMware Certifications or experience
- Microsoft Certifications (Administrator/Engineer level) or experience.
- Windows 10 experience
- Microsoft Server 2012 or higher experience
- Microsoft Domain Server Roles experience
- Microsoft Office Suite / Office 365 / Microsoft 365 experience
- Microsoft SQL experience
- EMR/EHR/Practice Management Suites (eClinicalWorks, Team Chart Concept, Greenway, Allscripts, etc.) or experience.
