Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling front office reception and administration duties.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
Skills:
- Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a Medical Office setting
- Event planning experience
- Real estate administrative background
- Familiarity with QuickBooks software
- Computer literacy with various office software applications
