Job duties:
- Completely familiar with all liquor brands, wine list, wines by the glass, specialty cocktails, glassware, garnishes, and service procedures;
- Responsible for doing the inventory and placing orders when needed;
- Responsible for all aspects of the bar area, including setting up and stocking product for each shift, maintaining the presentation of bar and storage areas;
- Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all equipment, utensils and tools;
- Assists guests in making food and beverage selection;
- Takes and rings in orders in the POS system and conducts credit card transactions;
- Prepares before, during and after shift with various side works;
- Must be alert to team member and guest needs;
- Knowledge of restaurant hospitality and fully engaged, service-minded attitude to ensure guests have a wonderful dining experience at YUME.
Additional qualifications:
- Two year bartending experience (Bartender) in a full-service restaurant preferred;
- Adheres to sanitation, safety, and alcohol policies put forth by management and the state
- Must be willing to work on weekends and/or evenings;
- Able to work quickly in a confined area and stand for long hours;
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
- Knowledgeable of POS system;
- Adhere to company dress code;
- Must be well presented/groomed;
- Punctuality and reliable attendance;
- Able to lift 40 pounds;
- Reaches, bends, and stoops;
- Stands/walks for long hours.
