Oakdale Seniors Alliance is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Controller to join our mission-driven team! This remote position offers the flexibility you desire while making a real impact on the lives of Seniors in our Communities! *Preference given to applicants in the following States: Florida, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, or Colorado.
As a vital member of our leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial well-being of our organization, which supports senior living communities across the region.
- Overseeing all aspects of the accounting function and financial reporting.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Managing the budgeting and forecasting process, including developing financial models and variance analysis.
- Providing insightful financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensuring internal controls are implemented and adhered to.
- Working collaboratively with department heads on financial matters.
- Staying abreast of current accounting principles and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial controller or senior accounting role.
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
- Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle).
